Paul Tulley

“Everyone involved in OneWolverhampton is committed to seeing this partnership make a difference for health and care in Wolverhampton and it is great to be part of that.”
Born and raised in Wolverhampton, Paul has been working in the NHS since 1989. He holds Masters qualifications in Health Care Ethics and Public Health and has worked in senior roles in a number of NHS commissioning organisations and a large acute teaching hospital.
In his current role, Paul is the Wolverhampton Managing Director for the Black Country Integrated Care Board (ICB), responsible for commissioning out-of-hospital health services for Wolverhampton, working alongside and as part of the OneWolverhampton Partnership. He is also the ICB lead for cancer services across the Black Country.
He believes that strong partnership working has always been important, and the latest NHS changes are really putting local partnerships at the centre of our thinking for how out-of-hospital services can be designed and delivered in a jointed-up way, for the people and communities we serve.
Paul is a member of the Physical Activity Steering Group and is an advocate for encouraging active travel for the benefits of keeping fit, reducing congestion and air pollution, something which he practices himself by regularly cycling to work.
Having grown up in locally along with all his family, a little known fact is that there is a stained glass window dedicated to his Great-Grandmother at Saint Mark and St Chad’s Church in the Graiseley area.
